12 Days...
Let me just explain how incredible the good state of Colorado is.

 -It has the best seasons

You get the full winter feeling (dumps of snow), but then it quickly melts with the sunny skies.  Spring is full of rain storms and semi-green vegetation.  Summers are HOT.  And fall is mild and amazing! 

-Family up the Wazoo

-Incredible views everywhere (mountains, grandmas house, etc)

-Amazing sunsets

-Random wildlife

-Suburbs! So much open space

-Not a college town

-HOME

I miss this place so much and I secretly (or not so secretly) hope to end up there at some point in my life.   But until then....VACATION!!! Yes, I get to fly out to Colorado over President's Day weekend! JUST ME. The hubby gets to stay home and work.  I feel bad for the poor guy, but a girl's got to do what a girl's got to do.

The best part: Mom and Grandma already have begun the weekend planning.  Everything on Grandma's list: SHOPPING. If you know Grandma Shirley it's not a surprise. 

And all that I want: lunch trips with the gang, pedicures and manicures, walks with my puppy, relaxing at home, working out with Mom, home-made meals, and one-on-one time with the parents!  It is such a treat to be the only child at home, receiving the FULL attention of my parents.  CANNOT WAIT. 12 Days and Counting...
