Birthday Boy

The husband turned 27 today!!! It is crazy that we have now spent 3 of his birthdays together! It feels like such a long time, but not, but that we have known each other forever, and yet we are still not sick of each other! That's the best part.

But this handsome man was given the choice of whatever he wanted for breakfast, anything at all, bought or made.  Guess what he chose...out of all his options, he wanted McDonalds.  Yup.  So of course I complied, and added a Hot Chocolate made with WHOLE MILK, yes whole milk, I knew that he would be happy because he certainly will never get whole milk at our house.

He opened some of his presents last night because he goes to work early, and of course he knew they were clothes, so figured he would have some new things to wear for his big day.  He persevered through a long day at work and we enjoyed a delightful CPK dinner and the famous Kentucky Butter Cake that I wiped up earlier in the day. Basically the best unhealthy cake you will ever indulge in.  Equipped with 3 sticks of butter, what could be better? It was a good night.

This boy is my world and my life.  I love him with all my heart and I love that he still makes me laugh so much and calms me down whenever I need it, and is extremely patient with me.  I never thought I could love someone so much, and that love just grows more and more every day we spend together.  I love you David Arthur Hansen, thank you for being my eternal companion.  Happy Birthday!!!!
