It has been forever since I have last posted, and I blame a number of things: moving into our house, family in town, California trip, and having no internet hook up in our home yet (tethering to our phones is required which takes all our data). But I figured it was worth it to take some time and document our California Wedding adventure.

We traveled to Sacramento for David's brother's wedding. It was so much fun to get away from Utah for a bit and enjoy a drastic change in weather. We are talking 95 degrees people. We Utahans are not used to this. We pregnant women are definitely not. But it was still a gorgeous day for the happy couple and a lot of fun family time for us.

| Darling niece who everyone could not get enough of this trip |
I apologize I did not capture every Hansen family on my camera!
After the wedding celebration we went to Bakersfield where David grew up (not the place many think of when you hear "grew up in Cali"). Probably won't be moving there in our lifetime. But it was so much fun to spend time with the Hansen clan and enjoy some relaxation before more wedding celebrations. A big thanks to Aunt Sally and Uncle Steven for allowing us to enjoy their beautiful home! The boys definitely got their fill of water fun.
Baby had his first swim party which was a joy! I was definitely proud to sport around my belly all weekend. I had my first encounter with a lady from the hotel ask me if I was expecting! I may have been placing my hand underneath my belly a little too much this trip, but hey I am a proud future mother here, I have to show off my baby right?? It was so great.
And little man was so much more active this trip. I witnessed him move from one side of my belly to the other. This was the first time I SAW it, rather than just feeling it. And miraculously David saw him kick a little too. It was the greatest and strangest feeling ever and I love ever minute of it.
One thing I learned from this trip is how much I am grateful for my in-laws. I definitely got a good batch when it comes to in-laws and it was so much fun to spend so much time together. (missed Eric and Sara!) Not sure if I could handle living in California heat, especially while "wearing a baby 24/7" (quote from SIL), but I sure enjoy a trip now and again! Until the next adventure.
Love the pictures! So fun to see them of the wedding too! You look awesome too! Cute baby bump :)
