Halloween 2014

Anderson's first trick-or-treating Halloween experience was a success! We knew it was going to be a pretty low key holiday so we decided to make the most of it and attempt to teach Anders how to trick or treat.  Dressed as the cheapest and easiest costume I could make, we headed out.  He started out as a happy moose and ended as a very happy moose.

His first house he was pretty timid, he always is unsure whether he should take things from strangers...a characteristic I hope he never loses! But once he got the concept, he was just fine going up to each house, taking one candy (don't worry i put more in his bag of course), and hanging onto that one candy until he got another from the next house.

of course he got pretty distracted on the way so we let our little moose roam in his natural environment
Auntie Anna joined in on the fun and man does Anderson love her.  For good reason.

Halloween 2014 was a complete success (David and I were easy lumberjacks so I can honestly say we did dress up!) and so much fun watching Anderson get the jist of things.  He definitely didn't know how to say "Trick or Treat", but every time I told him to say it he would raise his hand...that works right?  And then of course he would make the sign for "please".  Such manners. I love him.
