2017 Camping Round 2

Took another camping trip this weekend and I feel like it just keeps getting better.  The boys love life, are always entertained, and finally are sleeping easily through the night.  They may still wake up early but I have come to terms with the fact that my children will never "catch up" on sleep and will always be early risers.  Ya win some ya lose some.  But Pinnacles National Park was a fun new adventure.  We didn't have the necessary snacks and equipment to stick out a full hike the next morning, (the heat, sleep deprivation, and 30 week prego belly got in our way), but it was still wonderful to explore some nature and get away from daily life and enjoy time with great friends.

Every time we camp or are out hiking or exploring, it's confirmed that we are all really the happiest when we are outdoors.  Maybe we will try to sneak in one more camping trip before baby sister arrives.  Now for some of my favorite pics from the weekend.  I love my family.

It was literally the easiest to get them to sleep (could have been because it was 10pm) , and they didn't make a peep all night until 6:30am.  Not too shabby. And before Anderson crashed he stated "mom, camping is so fun, thanks I love you!" and then prayed that the apparent volcano he saw along the drive wouldn't erupt and that Sterling would start following his good examples.  I think he covered all his bases.
Anderson ALWAYS has to give baby sister hugs and kisses at least once a day.  He often mentions "hey! that bebe is getting so big!" I love him
Glow sticks the night before were game changers.  The boys were in heaven all night long and the next morning.
Friends are the greatest
And that stud right there is the best dad and husband I could ask for.  He seriously takes care of everything while we camp and I never have to worry (even though he did forget the camping chairs ;) no matter no matter, this prego mama was perfectly fine borrowing chairs from others.  I love you David! Thanks for making camping such a good experience.
