Christmas Day 2015

David's parents were kind enough to rent a home in Pleasant Grove for the kids that live out of Utah.  It was his parents, us, his younger sister, husband and their two kids (similar ages to my boys), and his youngest brother and wife.  It was so nice to be in a home, even if it wasn't ours for Christmas morning.  We brought a few gifts for Santa to give to the boys and all of the stocking stuffers.  David and I did Christmas between us two before we left which I liked because we could focus all of our attention on the boys which really is the best part.
Anderson was so excited this year! He would always yell "reindeer are coming!" So in honor of them we set out milk and cookies for Santa and oranges (and he will tell you carrots, even though we didn't have any) for the reindeer.  Experiencing the Christmas season through a 2 year old's eyes is pretty magical.

After presents we all headed back to the church for lunch and playing.  And that's what we did, just played.  Wiggle boards, basketball, nurf guns, cars, remote quadcopters, and of course the adult stockings that David's parents do for us.  It was so much fun.  And man by the end of the day we were all exhausted.  But not exhausted enough to miss out on a sneak away to see Star Wars.  I love having grandparents around to watch the kiddos. 

Anderson got a little exhausted so he decided to plop down with Sterling and take a break.  He of course decided to take his extra binky.  Relaxation technique of course. 

Again Brent surprised everyone with an egg drop craft.  Anderson was all about his "basket" keeping their egg safe...up until it was dropped and broke...then the water works started.  Poor sensitive soul. 

On the upside, Sterling was a champ and napped whenever he was tired, wherever was convenient.  I had quite the time scootin around on that wiggle board.

I think this pose has been outgrown.  Too many tall sibs ;)
