San Diego 2017

We were able to drive down to San Diego for the blessing of my new niece and was lucky enough to see two sets of grandparents, three uncles, three aunts, and 3 cousins for the boys.  It was heavenly.  San Diego ain't too shabby of a place.  The Zoo.  The Beaches.  It was a good quick weekend and I die every time Anderson gets to play with his cousin Carter.  I rarely see him and he is so happy and exhausted at the end of each day.

Plus, I can't thank my parents enough for driving back to Santa Clara with me and the boys since David flew out from San Diego for a work trip.  It made that trip such a breeze! We love you!
If you know Anderson, then you know if he is comfortable with someone, and he cares about you dearly, he will put his hands on your face. All. The. Time.  It kills me.  Carter was a little taken aback every time though. ;)
Anderson always had the map and was constantly telling us the route to take.  He still keeps it and we look at it daily going over what we saw and what we missed, for next time.
It's possible beach Sterling may be my favorite.  He is so so good and so happy independently playing. Even if he prides himself in his sand eating ability.  Immune system buildup right?
Grandpa time is one of the bests
As is Auntie and Grandma time
One of the best moments was when Anderson came in all decked out in this gear, insisting, quite strongly, that the elbow pads go on his shoulders.  Whatever you need dude.  And of course, he had to top off the look with his "tough guy face".  Nailed it.
We sure loved visiting with family! Thank you to everyone who hosted us and kept us entertained all weekend! Until next time!
