The Big 22!!!!

This birthday was fantastic! And I owe it all to my incredible husband and family.  David began the celebratory day with Kneaders french toast and of course waking me up with a huge popper of confetti, and I mean huge! Hundreds of small pieces of covered paper all over the bed. Scared me half to death but he was like an excited little puppy.

I thought the room was a mess after the first enormous popper...but that of course was not enough for David.  The minute I stepped out of the shower, BOOM.....commenced by David jumping up and down for joy and saying "Happy Birthday Happy Birthday!!"  I do love that boy.

Now I knew that this day would be mainly without my husband because he leaves for work at 9 and doesn't come home until 7, so I knew it may be a little boring until he got home.  But he was one step ahead of me. Next came a very cute/nerdy/funny card saying that there were 4 mini cards scattered around the house and if I found all of them I would find another surprise! "Something to keep me busy all day long." David thought of everything.  Unfortunately this boy is way too good at hiding...he pretty much had to tell me where two of them were, plus the extra little present.  I need to work on my finding skills I admit, but who uses places like these to hide mini cards??
Top shelf in my closet
Behind the TV (said this was the easiest)

Under the carpet (who does that?)

Top shelf in the cupord, but the box was not moved away, the card was not visible (ridiculous)
again the book was not visible whatsoever (mattresses standing up in the corner in storage)
But what a sweetheart I have for a husband right?!? He knows how to make me feel great
The celebration did not stop there.  My little sister and I got manicures and pedicures, it was perfect. I also got presents and treats from my family.  They are the greatest sisters ever!  I got the cutest presents from my sisters, absolutely love them, and from each sister, including sister in law...I got some type of treat....think my family thinks I like food much?
Yup....family knows me
One of our sweet little sunbeams brought these homemade Chocolate Chip with Oreo Cookies  in the middle  over for me, with the most darling note...I love those kids.

To end the night David and I went to Art City Trolley...got FREE CARROT CAKE, ate it at the park in the trunk of the car....and then watched Battleship (according to David "its just a FUN movie even though it is pretty stupid") haha and it was absolutely perfect.
And of course we had to end the night with some playing in the confetti...naturally.
BEST 22 BIRTHDAY EVER and THE GREATEST HUSBAND IN THE WORLD

HAPPY 22 Year Old!
Here's to a great year full of adventures!
