Fantastic Easter Weekend

This Easter holiday we were lucky enough to be joined by my incredible, loving parents! It was perfect timing.  David, Anderson, and my sister Anna and I were on our own for the holiday festivities, so why not have Grandma and Grandpa come and join in on the fun?? Perfect excuse to come see their grandson is it not? They drove out Friday and stayed all weekend.  Gosh it was so nice to have them around.  Not only was it great to have a traditional family Easter Sunday dinner, but it was so nice having Anderson spending time with them and of course I always love me some family time.  

Ps.  I have realized just how much I love my big camera.  The pictures are so much better, and I take so many more (ie. picture overload warning), but goodness I am obsessed with my not-so-baby boy. 

The weekend consisted of a lot of play time with Anders, Temple Square trip in the great spring weather, enjoying the newly added changes to BYU campus, and a lot of walking, visiting, and pictures.  Perfect weather, perfect company, perfect holiday to reflect on how blessed I am because of my loving Heavenly Father and Savior to give me such an incredible family that I can be with for ETERNITY.

I am so grateful for the Atonement and what my Savior did for me so I can live with him and my Father in Heaven again some day.  I am lucky.  I am blessed. I have the true gospel in my life and I am truly grateful that I was raised by my parents in the church and that I can in turn raise my children in it.  It was a beautiful weekend.

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for a fantastic Easter holiday! We will miss you but look forward to more trips!

And let the fun continue this week with my mother and father in law coming into town for my brother and sister in laws' college graduation! Man it is going to be a great week! Bring on the family time!
