Baby Moon/Family Vacation to Washington

I love vacations!! David and I planned months ago that we wanted to take a last big "Baby Moon" vacation before the baby comes.  You know, a last trip before you can't travel anymore in the 3rd trimester and to play before we have a little one attached to us.  We knew that: 1. We wanted to get away from the heat  2. We wanted to go somewhere David has never been (not hard) and   3. We wanted to love every minute!  It wasn't hard to choose Anacortes, Washington.  My grandparent's had a house on that island that we would always go to growing up.  After they passed away my dad has gone multiple times getting it cleaned up.  It is amazing.  Gorgeous area.  Nice cute towns.  Great mild weather.  What could be better?? We soon realized that being able to stay in that nice house by the ocean, and not having to worry about navigating ourselves around would be even better...so...we invited the parents!!! We were so excited.  We decided to turn it into a little family vacation.  Unfortuantely Miss Rebecca is in Sweden on her mission and couldn't join us, and Daron and Dani Bree were unable to attend as well.  We missed them so much! But Anna and her boyfriend, Jake, were more than willing to join in on the fun and we are so glad.

No it may not be the typical "baby moon" you may hear about.  But we wouldn't have had it any other way.  It was incredible.  This post will basically be a photo overload, but that's what makes it great right?

I was just so happy to be in Washington with half of my family.  Slightly disappointed that we didn't get more overcast/rain (I don't handle the heat well, even moreso when prego), but it turned out to be perfect with all of the sight seeing and walking around we did.  And baby did great! Moving around all the time but not making it difficult for me to walk which was a blessing!

I don't have anything negative to say about this trip.  Washington is amazing.  The San Juan Islands are to die for and I am in love with my family.  It was so great being together.  And David and my Dad were definitely happy to have another guy around (Darn Daron not being able to make it).  Thanks Jake for coming along, it was so much fun.  We missed you, Daron and Dani Bree and Bex!

And a huge thank you to my parents.  They are incredible.  We would not have been able to enjoy this trip like we did without you! You are amazing and we are so grateful for everything you do for our family.  We love you! Until the next family vaca...this time hopefully with the ENTIRE crew!
